Microbial electrochemistry and technology experts gather
MIDES was presented at the 3rd European Meeting of the International Society for Microbial Electrochemistry and Technology from 26-28 September 2016 in Rome. The Scientific and Technical Manager of the MIDES project, Abraham Esteve-Nuñez of IMDEA, acted as member of the International Scientific Committee of EU-ISMET.
EU-ISMET brought together the scientific community to present and discuss the latest advances in research and industrial application of microbial electrochemical technologies . During the EU-ISMET 2016 key topics were discussed such as electrosynthesis of valuable products, electron transfer mechanisms, electrobioremediation, as well as aspects of process development, microbiology, material science and others.
MIDES promotional materials were distributed among attendees and at Aqualia’s stand.
